As in, we’ve rolled it out! This morning, Starkville merchants, civic groups and residents were out in force for the annual Get Swept Up! event sponsored by the Greater Starkville Development Partnership. Held each year on Wednesday prior to the first Mississippi State home football game, the city-wide effort aims to “clean up, fix up & spruce up” our town for the Fall’s football guests.
As you can see, the maroon carpet flags are out and Downtown Starkville is ready for Bulldog fans to arrive, complete with some great sidewalk sales. Thanks, Starkville, for helping us welcome Bulldog nation back home for tomorrow’s game!
